We welcome young musicians of all ages - through high school rising seniors - who wish to commit to our rehearsal and concert schedule.

An audition is required for admittance into all Children's Orchestra Society programs. Auditions for orchestras are held in June for the following academic year. Auditions for other programs and additional orchestral auditions are arranged by appointment only.

To start the admission process, please submit a completed application: either online or by mail (download the PDF). Payment of the $25 non-refundable application can be made by credit card or personal check. When you apply online, you will be prompted to set up an account before submitting the credit card information.

Upon receipt of your completed application, one of our staff will contact you within two weeks to schedule an audition.

Audition Requirements

Applicants to the orchestral program should prepare for their audition per the appropriate category (details at left). When orchestra excerpts are required, music will be mailed to you at least two weeks before the scheduled audition.
