Parents' Association

The Parents' Association at COS has been an enthusiastic partner in COS' music and programs for many years. COS depends on its member families to take an active part in achieving a healthy learning environment and musical success. The Parents' Association has also provided the bouquets for conductors and soloists at concerts, snacks for the musicians, and organized the receptions after concerts and the annual Orientation.

In the past, the Parents' Association has compiled a family telephone directory for use by COS families and as an aid in carpooling; sent out periodic newsletter with schedule notes and announcements; provided Orchestra member refreshments at dress rehearsals; presented flowers to conductors and student soloists at concerts; and organized post-concert receptions. The Parents' Association raises its funds entirely from an annual membership fee and snack sales at rehearsals. Our continued existence is possible only with the help of all COS families.
